Introduction of the smart extrusion system of Alumax's CES-ACP production line
Alumax Taiwan is one of the world's leading brands in ACP production line manufacturing. Our customers around the world are producing high-quality FR-B1 and B2-class ACP panels through our production lines and benefiting from our cost-effective CES-ACP (Smart Extrusion System) production lines.
The main advantage of our CES-ACP line is that it saves you 40% to 60% on FR core material costs. There is no need to incur additional costs when purchasing and importing expensive FR pellets from overseas. Using your own FR core material, you can produce twice as many ACP panels in normal production working hours while meeting the EN-13501-1 fire rating (Class B-s1-d0) international standard.
To gain a basic understanding of the production line process: A predetermined amount of mineral filler and LDPE pellets are loaded into an internal mixer via an auto-loading and weighing system, where the mixture is mixed with the necessary heat and pressure to disperse and distribute to gain perfect mixing, and the material emerges as a dough after a few minutes. It is then extruded into a co-extrusion die with a special combination extrusion system extruder, while the remainder of the lamination process proceeds as usual. To produce smooth, consistent, and high-quality FR-B1 panels, a high mixing ratio of 30% LDPE and 70% aluminum or magnesium hydroxide powder (or additives) can be used.
Alumax also provides a (Smart Extrusion System) ACP line upgradation program for customers who are utilizing traditional ACP production lines with single- or twin-screw extruders. They no longer have to spend a lot of money purchasing and importing expensive FR/B1 pellets from abroad. Their existing ACP production line and machines that are stated below can also function similarly to our CES-ACP production line, providing you with a significant cost saving over the core material.
